The Maze Project is about creating a game in 3D using ray-casting.

I was involved with the 3D raycasting Maze Project for two weeks. It involves designing and rendering textures for objects, environment, and a controller so that users can interact with them, such as controlling movements, avoiding collisions and navigating their surroundings. It also includes features like maps, skins, and a 3D view for a first person gaming experience.

This work is completely solo as the development process was an individual task which is the default project given it was created as a tool to help researchers develop methods for solving 3-D mazes. It was also designed to better visualize the navigation and decision-making challenges that robots must address in order to solve mazes.

My personal focus of the 3D raycasting Maze Project is on providing a platform for researchers to develop, test, and validate algorithms for solving 3-D mazes. By working with a simulated version of a maze, researchers can use the project to develop more effective navigation strategies, and explore the underlying decision-making processes involved in solving complex mazes.

Growing up, I had the privelege of being surrounded by modern technology, so spending my childhood as a gamer was…
